Fans, who are from across the country, want Ticketmaster to pay dearly for their guesswork, allowing bots and scalpers to spectacularly spoof the November 15 presale event. As we reported, millions of fans waited hours hoping to score a seat in the digital “lineup” — but most of them never got a chance to sniff out a ticket.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, Ticketmaster was supposed to send “verified” Taylor Swift fans a code on Nov. 14 that would allow them access to the presale event — but angry fans say thousands of them didn’t get either. codes, or bad codes were sent.
In the lawsuit, they accuse Ticketmaster of intentionally deceiving, as the company controls the primary ticket sales market as well as the secondary market – aka scalpers. Fans allege that Ticketmaster was “eager to allow” scalpers access to pre-sales.
Translation: Ticketmaster double-dipping with scalpers, while true Taylor fans are left with nothing.

Fans are alleging fraud, price fixing and antitrust infringement… as they claim Ticketmaster is the only game in town when it comes to large concert venues that can accommodate artists as Taylor .
They’re suing LA County — where Ticketmaster’s parent company Live Nation is headquartered — to get back the “wrongful profits” Ticketmaster collected during the presale disaster. They also want the court to fine the company $2500 per violation… just to teach them a lesson.
