Amidst the news that Nick Cannon is having a baby expansion continues, After the TV host announced that Alyssa Scott is pregnant with her soon-to-be 12th child, the 42-year-old father is talking about the hefty child-support bill he pays on an annual basis.
A report in The Sun claimed that Cannon paid “about $3 million a year in child support,” although the musician and actor told The Neighborhood Talk that the actual number is much larger.
“I certainly spend a lot more than that on my kids annually,” he said.
He also shared, “I don’t plan on ever participating in a child government system.”
On Saturday, Canon announced the birth of her eleventh child, a daughter, Zeppelin Cannon, with Abbey de la Rosa. She wrote to De La Rosa and their new baby girl on Instagram, “You are the definition of tenacious and virtuous and it is my constant duty to make you and our kids feel valued and protected every single day! Beautiful Zeppelin aka BZC aka BIZZY B! Get ready because the world is yours! Daddy loves you!!”
The couple are already parents to 17-month-old Zion and Jillian.
Cannon also shares twins Monroe and 11-year-old Morrocan with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Scott, who is the mother of her and Cannon’s late son Zane, announced her pregnancy with him “Masked Singer” host on November 3rd
Cannon has three children with Brittany Bell, Golden, 5, Powerful, 18 months, and Rise, 1 month.
They welcomed their first child, Onyx, 2 months in September with Lanisha Cole, and mythical love, 4 months with Brie Tissi.
