Jessie James Decker, Dierks Bentley and more country music artists reveal their ultimate duet partners

Country music stars are revealing the details of who their dream duet partners would be.

When any artist was given the opportunity to join the team, some singers chose fellow country music artists, while others chose pop stars or late crooners.

“Okay, the ultimate duet partner? I’d probably say Jimi Hendrix, but someone alive — maybe Chris Martin from Coldplay,” said singer Lindsay L.

“I just love how Chris uses styles and takes them on such a crazy stage around the world, and so I think music and production wise we can just create something amazing,” she explained.

Prine died of coronavirus complications in 2020 at the age of 73.

“Ultimate duet mate, oh John Prine,” Davis said. “John Prine is the reason I fell in love with songwriting. He’s the best songwriter to live for in my opinion, so it would be John Prine.”

Prine wrote several hits during his illustrious career as a singer-songwriter, including “You Never Even Called Me by My Name,” “Angel from Montgomery,” “Hello in There” and “In Spirit of Ours.” Huh.

Bentley, who has worked with many of the industry’s top musicians throughout his career, also picked a late idol.

Dierks Bentley revealed that he would have loved to work on a duet with Frank Sinatra.

Bentley said, “You know, I have so many great partners. I’ve had a chance to sing with Alison Krauss, I’ve sung a live duet with Taylor Swift. It was great.” “I’m a big fan of Frank Sinatra, so he’ll probably be that guy.”

Tyler Hubbard’s dream collaboration would be a country-pop crossover with former boy band member Justin Timberlake.

“Oh, the ultimate couple mate. I just thought Justin Timberlake All of a sudden,” Hubbard said. “I don’t know why, but I think it would be fun collaborating with them.”

Timberlake has previously collaborated with another country star, Chris Stapleton. The two teamed up for the 2018 song “Say Something” and their 2013 duet “Drink You Away”.

Decker is one of the lucky few in the industry to be able to say that she has already worked with the duet partner of her dreams, releasing a single with her only two weeks ago.

“My ultimate couple is my partner right now which I just launched two weeks ago, it’s called ‘I Still Love You. with billy curringtonMy favorite artist,” Decker explained to Fox News Digital on the CMA red carpet.

“He’s got 13 No. 1 songs. He’s my favorite male singer in this town, and being able to sing with him, I’m putting up a video, I’m revealing that we’re here next year next year on that single.” Will celebrate.”
