Attack – Part 1 is the story of the world’s first super soldier. In 2010, Army officer Arjun Shergill (John Abraham) and his team infiltrate a terrorist camp and capture a dreaded terrorist, Rehman Gul. Her teenage son Hamid Gul is found with a suicide bomb. Arjun defuses it and lets Hamid live. Nowadays Arjun meets Ayesha (Jacqueline Fernandez), who is an airhostess. The two fall in love with each other and start a romantic relationship. One day Arjun goes to the airport to pick up Ayesha. Then the terrorists suddenly attack. Ayesha dies in this fight and Arjun is badly injured. Arjun regains consciousness in the hospital when he learns that he has a paralysis below his neck. He gets sad. Meanwhile, he learns that Hamid Gul (Elham Ehsaas), now a grown-up, is carrying out terror attacks against India. Due to these growing threats, Subramaniam (Prakash Jha), a high-ranking official in the Indian government, suggests that a super soldier program be started. Under this program a chip will be surgically implanted in a soldier. This would make him almost invincible and a one man army. The Prime Minister approved the idea. Saba Qureshi (Rakul Preet Singh) is the brainchild behind this program and she insists that only a paralyzed soldier can be selected for the experiment. Subramaniam approaches Arjuna who agrees immediately, despite knowing that the experiment may fail. Thankfully, the operation was successful and Arjun was able to walk and move his limbs as usual. Gradually, he understands his strengths and how to use them. Before he is fully prepared, he is given a dangerous mission. Hamid Gul and his gang infiltrate the Parliament of India. They take the prime minister and a hundred others hostage, including Sabah. What happens next becomes the rest of the film.
