we are sending our best wishes Amy Schumer and his son Jean,
in one instagram In a Sunday post, the comedian clarified what she calls the “toughest week” of her life — rehearsal for saturday night live Was interrupted when her 3-year-old got sick and had to be taken to the hospital:
“It was the hardest week of my life. I missed Thursday’s rehearsal when my son was taken to the ER and admitted for RSV. Shout-out to all the parents, though it is going right now.”
In case you’re not familiar, RSV is a type of respiratory tract infection most often caught by infants and young children. Symptoms usually appear as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and runny nose. It’s never fun dealing with any kids or parents – especially while busy on set!
The 41-year-old held on to his post and praised SNL crew to be instrumental in taking care of her precious son, whom she shares with husband Chris Fisher — and thankfully she says the little boy is now home and doing much better:
“I had to be with him all day in the hospital and the beautiful man on @nbcsnl couldn’t be more helpful. My son is at home and is doing better.”
The actress said that she always enjoys her time on the show and gives a shout-out to her family on the sets. He then closed the post by thanking the medical team that helped his son recover:
“Thanks to everyone out there and to the doctors and nurses who helped us.”
